The School of Telecommunications Engineering has 4 seminar rooms provided with Internet connection and video projectors. It is also equipped with 3 videoconference rooms useful for the development of joint meetings or seminars with other research centres.

With regard to the Library, at the School of Telecommunications Engineering there is a reading room, there is also a large library at the Engineerings building and finally, there is the University Central Library. This library can be accessed from the Intranet of the University of Vigo.

It should also be noted that the School of Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo is prepared for the access of all persons with any disability to their different pavilions, having for this purpose conveyor platforms and entrance ramps.

The University of Vigo offers wireless connection to the university’s internal network, and therethrough to internet. All of the members of the university community has access to this service by using a password linked to their personal email account, provided by the university.

The research centre AtlantTIC, which includes most of the research groups, has among its aims the doctoral training; to that end, it allocates part of its economic resources to support research stays and attendance to scientific conferences for Doc_TIC’s PhD students.

The research groups linked to the Programme are provided with the resources, materials and services necessary to develop in a fully satisfactory manner the PhD Programme proposed. The research groups participating in the PhD Programme are active groups who regularly achieve resources for research and travel grants for attendance to conferences and stays abroad or in other universities. The PhD students will join the research groups where their doctoral thesis director is involved. Therefore, they will have access to this type of grants for the development of their research tasks and pre-doctoral training.

It is expected that all students get enough funding for conducting research stays and attendance to conferences.
